Promotion and construction of Valle Solar 300 MW
Project: Valle Solar
300 Mw
Project description
Genia Solar Energy has begun the promotion of Valle Solar, the 218 MW Renewable Generation Project with connection to the transport grid in the Spanish Electricity Grid (REE by its Spanish initials), the largest in the Region of Valencia. The 300 MW sustainable photovoltaic plant with positive balance is the largest PV project to date in the Region of Valencia.
Valle Solar is a participatory model, economically and environmentally sustainable, democratic, equitable, and technically secure. In this project, self-supply and renewable energy generation plants that are connected to the transport grid coexist.
This project is evidence that electricity can be produced and consumed in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way, beyond the large energy oligopolies.
Generating clean renewable energy like solar power is a key factor in decarbonising the Spanish economy and fulfilling European objectives regarding energy and environmental issues. A leader in sustainability, based on the circular economy model.
